The Waitakere Ranges Heritage Park adjoins the hotel property. This provides a huge selection of bush walking options.
The spectacular West Coast Beaches of Piha and Karekare are within 15 minutes drive.
The area was one of the original wine producing regions in New Zealand and many well known wine making names are still located in the area.
A rainforest express, miniature train does trips through the rainforest, through about ten tunnels and over a large viaduct. A truly special rainforest experience.
