| Opened in November 2000, the four star Aquila Eco Lodges is a small scale, family owned and operated, multi award winning eco accommodation business. Aquila has won Tourism Victoria awards (ecotourism) in 2003, 2004 and 2005 (Hall of Fame) as well as many environmental and tourism awards.
Aquila is 6 km from the regional town of Dunkeld, 3 hours’ drive from Melbourne. It is located in the Southern Grampians, with Hamilton, the nearest Regional city, 30 kms to the West.
Aquila, at the base of Mt Abrupt, is surounded on three sides by Grampians National Park.
