Apollo Bay Cottages

Apollo Bay is a pretty little town with lots of unspoilt beaches to wander along. At Marengo, just metres from the cottages the Great Ocean Walk begins and is a very enjoyable walk along beaches, rocks and natural bush. Or you go on a tour and kayak out to the reef and see the Australian fur seals.

The famous 12 Apostles are approximately one hour further west along the Great Ocean Road and a great day trip with lots of other attraction to see along the way. Don't forget to see the Grotto rock formation either.

There is an abundance of waterfalls in the area. You may be lucky enough to see a koala or wallaby in the wild! You can visit Cape Otway Lighthouse, the oldest Australian lighthouse located the most southern tip of mainland Australia.

At the Otway Fly take a relaxing tree top canopy walk, or for the more adventurous book a zip line tour. The kids will love the dinosaur walk with giant t-rex, pterodactyl and more lurking in the forest!

In town there is a fantastic variety of restarants and cafes to grab coffee or a scumptious meal. There is also a 9 hole golf course on the point - which is a bargain at $15 a round.

There is a wide range of water sports or air adventures you can be part of too; book a joy flight to the 12 Apostles, go on a fishing charter, learn to surf, kayak to the fur seals, paraglide or hanglide from the top of the Otways.
