We are so close to Caroline Bay-just a 5 minute walk to the beach for swimming, skate park for skateboarding, playground, bird aviary, Timaru Aquatic Centre, Rose Garden, Paddling Pool and picnic areas.
Each Christmas enjoy the old fashion country music festival held on Caroline Bay from the 26th December until early January....Children rides are also operating around this time.
Take in a coastal walk, explore the port with its fishing boats and explore the main street shopping with stores such as Farmers, Dick Smiths and other national chain stores plus Timaru has a range of tearooms and cafes for food and coffee.
