The Alara Motor Inn is a beautifully presented 4 star motor inn situated on the Bruce Highway, only minutes from the city heart of Mackay, airport, beaches and all amenities.
All our rooms are recently refurbished and provide all amenities needed by the discerning traveller including TV, video and Austar, tea & coffee making facilities, iron and board, hair dryer, air conditioning, internet data port. We also have two bedroom family units and executive suites with double corner spas.

Mackay is situated centrally along the Queensland coast between Brisbane and Cairns, and is the gateway to the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef. One hours drive to the west takes you up the Eungella range and into the Eungella National Park, for lovely rainforest walks and platypus viewing. Mackay has many beautiful unspoilt beaches.
