Located a short drive from the Taupo township in a quiet tree-lined residential suburb within an easy walk to the lake without the need to cross the main road. Airport Motel @ Rainbow Point offers: Twelve cottage style ground level units. All units are tastefully decorated and are self catering. We offer both cooked and continental breakfasts. There is a restaurant adjacent to the complex. The complex also has a BBQ available, guest laundry, and a five person Spa Pool which is housed in a private pagoda available for hire.

- The service with a smile - so accomodating
- Bit out of actual Taupo itself - but still only a 5min drive, so not really a big deal!
- Just a warm, friendly and very economical place.
