Coogee beach is an obvious summer time holiday destination choice, but the vibrant beach side atmosphere and activities offer you a magnificent lifestyle experience all year round. Even in winter, Coogee is drenched in sunlight and people from all over Sydney (and the world) flock to it to bath in the sunlight and take in the beach side atmosphere and lifestyle.

Enjoy both the sea and surf, or a rock pool directly beneath The Coogee View, which is ideal for both the lap swimmer and for children of all ages. For the more serious lap swimmer, the world famous art deco Wiley's Bath, just a short walk from The Coogee View.

Enjoy one of Coogee's many cafes and restaurants, including: Cerviche (beneath The Coogee View with direct access), Bazura (down the road), Coogee Diggers, Coogee Bay Hotel, Art Lounge Cafe and Coogee Palace.

The coastal walk from Coogee to Bondi has many scenic attractions and offers beautiful coastline vistas, cosy beaches and cafes. It is 6km long and you may even come across migrating whales, see the Sydney to Hobart yacht race or take in sculptures by the sea.

Coogee's famous Wedding Cake Island is a small island off Coogee beach, viewed from the apartments, which protects the beach from most swells and makes Coogee one of the safest surf beaches in Sydney.

Some of the many activities for children are the numerous parks and children’s play area. Grant Reserve right behind The Coogee View offers one of the most impressive areas for children to play whilst offering parents a picturesque setting.
Just minutes away is Fox Studios Entertainment Quarter. Whether you want to shop, dine out, catch a movie, a world-class live comedy act or just hand out with friends over a drink, The Entertainment Quarter satisfies all your entertainment requirements. On Wednesdays and Saturdays there is even The Village markets with fine foods and fresh produce.

The Coogee View enjoys close proximity to the Sydney Football Stadium and Sydney Cricket Ground. Home of the Waratahs NSW Super Rugby Team, the Sydney Roosters and South Sydney Rabbitohs NRL teams. Close by are also numerous Golf Courses including The NSW Golf Club, The Lakes Golf Club and Bonnie Doon.

  • Location. Very close to beach, city transport, food shops, supermarket & deli near by. Quiet
  • Dirty floor, dirty crockery, dirty couches, poor weekend service
  • Good transport to city, unimpressed by communication surrounding weekend check in. Would consider staying again with improvements.
