Glebe Point YHA is a 4 star backpackers hotel featuring 51 rooms and 147 beds in the relaxed and comfortable Bohemian inner-city suburb of Glebe. Glebe Point YHA is perfect for travellers looking for a more personal and hassle free stay, whilst still being within reach of all the major Sydney attractions.

We have private double or twin rooms and multi-share accommodation all with shared facilities. Our property also features a large self catering kitchen, dining room, large TV room, games room and a rooftop area with BBQ facilities and city views.

Getting There Glebe Point YHA is very easy to reach, transport into Glebe is readily available from the international and domestic terminals of Sydney airport and from Central Train Station.

To reach Glebe Point YHA from the Airport:
If arriving at Terminal 1 (the International Airport), we recommend using the 'Airport Connect' shuttle service, which costs $12.00 per person (payable at the hostel reception). This service operates between 7.00am and 8.00pm. Please call 1800 067 715 to arrange a pickup.
If arriving at Terminals 2 or 3 (the Domestic Airport), the 'Airport Connect' pickup point is located on the roadway between the two terminals. This service operates approximately every 20 minutes between 7.00am and 8.00pm. Please call 1800 067 715 to arrange a pickup.
A taxi from the airport will generally cost between $30.00 - $45.00 depending on traffic and the time of day. We would advise that you request your driver to travel via Newtown and not cross City Tunnel, as this will add substantial cost to your trip.

To reach Glebe Point YHA from Central Station:
Bus: Catch bus 431 or 434 from George Street to our front door, or take bus 432 or 433 from George Street to Wigram Road and walk along Glebe Point Road 200 metres to the hostel.
Train: Take light rail from Jubilee Park Station, less than 5 minute walk to YHA. To reach us by foot, walk up to the top of Victoria Road, turn right into Allen St, then left into Cotter Lane - we are located at the top of Cotter Lane on the right.
Parking Street parking is available for guests outside the hostel door.
Things To Do Glebe Point YHA is perfect for those on a working holiday, or if you just want to take your time in Sydney. Glebe Point YHA is situated in a cosmopolitan inner city area, known for its cafes, restaurants, markets and backpacker pubs which frequently host pool competitions, trivia nights and other activities.

While staying with us, enjoy the village atmosphere while using Glebe Point YHA as a base to explore Sydney. Walk to Darling Harbour or catch a bus from the hostel to the city centre - easy!

There are hundreds of cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from on Glebe Point Road. We are just a short walk to the Broadway Shopping Centre shops and cinemas, and just a short walk or bus ride to RPA Hospital and Sydney University.
