The Odd Frog is a luxury accommodation consisting of five architecturally designed studios, set amongst 10½ acres of native bushland. Located right in the heart of bright, enabling you to stroll into town to the local restaurants, shop and boutique brewery.

Each studio has amazing views from all rooms. The interiors are tastefully designed, creating a truly unique feel. Romance and relaxation fill the air, making The Odd Frog the perfect escape for those who appreciate privacy, contemporary design, the Australian landscape, all wrapped up in one unforgettable experience.

Environmental considerations where given to aspects of The Odd Frog, from design, construction, to running of the property. Owners strived to assure a high standard of accommodation was achieved, without compromising strong eco principals.

Getting There By Car Melbourne or Sydney –

Take the turnoff from the Hume Hwy towards Bright (and Myrtleford). Travel approximately 70km through Myrtleford until you reach the township of Bright. Turn right into the Bright Main between the two service stations, follow through the two roundabouts and head along the main street. After the school take the next left hand turn into McFadyens Lane, you will see the entrance to The Odd Frog. WELCOME!

Note – alternative routes via Milawa (from Melbourne) and via Yackandandah (from Sydney) can be taken, they are slightly quicker but not as straight forward!

Train/Bus - Trains are also available from Melbourne or Sydney to Wangaratta. A bus then can link to Bright.
Parking Each studio has parking allocated directly outside the studio.
Things To Do An easy stroll into town to cafes, shop and restaurants. Or visit Bright’s own micro brewery.

Take a bike for an easy ride along the “Rail Trail” to Boytons Winery, or travel a little further to Gapsted or even Beechworth.

Enjoy the mountains around us, great for sightseeing all year, go skiing in winter, or mountain biking in summer.

Food lovers will absolutely love our gourmet region with several wineries including Gapsted and Brown Brothers, as well as the famous Milawa Cheese Factory being a favourite for lunch or tastings.

For some history, drive across the Beechworth to enjoy the older style buildings, and or course visit the renowned Beechworth Bakery – oh and the Beechworth lolly shop – big enough to get lost in!!

For the more adventurous try abseiling on Mt Buffallo, paragliding across Bright, cross country skiing, or a micro-light flight.

And for the keen sportsmen try fly fishing or enjoy a game of golf at the Bright Golf Course.

Or for total relaxation – organise a massage in your Studio and soak up the atmosphere and privacy of The Odd Frog.
