An Ipipiri Overnight Cruise offers a unique overnight experience that will immerse you in the breathtaking beauty of the Bay of Islands.

Learn about the region's history and cultural significance aboard the 44m (150ft) catamaran as you journey back to the birthplace of New Zealand. With a relaxed and friendly onboard environment, guests can choose to do as much or a little as they please.
Rates include accommodation in one of 30 identical ocean view cabins, each with private en-suite and panoramic sea views. In the evening guests enjoy a three course buffet dinner featuring fresh local produce and continental and full cooked breakfast the following morning. Tea and coffee are provided throughout the cruise. (Bar charges additional)

Complimentary onboard activities are made easy with a unique hydraulic stern plate providing easy access to the sheltered clear waters of the Bay of Islands. Guests can choose from island walks, kayaking, swimming and snorkeling.

Extensive viewing decks, including a large rooftop sundeck provide excellent vantage points for photo opportunities and our highly skilled and knowledgeable local crew is always on hand to answer questions.

A small overnight bag (NB: there is no storage for large suitcases) should be brought on board for passenger convenience. It is advisable to bring swimwear, sunscreen, sun hat, comfortable walking shoes, warm clothing, and camera. Excess luggage can be stored at check-in.

  • Spread over four levels she provides the perfect venue for weddings, board meetings, conferences and incentive groups, featuring 30 identical ocean view cabins, each with private ensuites and panoramic sea views.
  • The restaurant and bar area cater for up to 70 guests for seated dinner and up to 110 for cocktail style events or theatre presentations. The spacious rooftop sundeck with 360 degree views provides the perfect location to relax and soak up the scenery. The cruise itinerary can be adjusted to suit and can link in to dolphin swimming, fishing, guided island walks, massage & beauty treatments, helicopter flight seeing and unique cultural activities with in the Bay.

Getting There Heading north from Auckland to Paihia is a 3.5 hour drive. Follow SH1 out of Auckland towards Whangarei and then follow the signs to the Paihia and the Bay of Islands.

Kerikeri, located 23 km northwest from Paihia is the region?s closest airport. Flights are a quick 40 minute journey from Auckland, making the trip to the stunning Bay of Islands quick and hassle free.
Parking Overnight public parking is available in the main Paihia car park for $10.00. Secure overnight parking is also available for $10.00 including courtesy transfers. Please ask at the time of booking.
