Distance from airport: 21Km, estimate time by car is 25 min You may take a regular taxi from the airport with the following travelling instructions: *Take The East Coast Express (ECP), making an exit at Rochor Road. *Turn left onto Victoria Street and travel straight down till arriving junction of Merchant Road. *Turn right onto Merchant Road and keep left into Keng Cheow Street. *Turn left onto Havelock Road and turn left into New Market Road *The hotel main entrance is located on the left side of New Market Road |

*Clarke Quay is a historical riverside quay in Singapore, located within the Singapore River Planning Area. The quay is situated upstream from the mouth of the Singapore River and Boat Quay. *Fort Canning Park is known for great views over Singapore, but in days past it served as the site of Raffles's home and the island's first botanic garden. Its history goes back even farther, though: Excavations have unearthed ancient brick foundations and artifacts that give credence to the island natives' belief that their royal ancestors lived and were buried on the site. Atop the hill, a mysterious keramat, or sacred grave, marks what is believed to be the burial site of Iskander Shah (also known as Parameswara), the Palembang ruler who came to Singapore in the late 1300s before settling in Melaka *Singapore's Chinatown is an ethnic neighbourhood featuring distinctly Chinese cultural elements and a historically concentrated ethnic Chinese population. Chinatown is located within the larger district of Outram. *The Central Fire Station is the oldest existing fire station in Singapore, and is located at Hill Street in the Museum Planning Area, within the Central Area, Singapore's central business district. |
