The Gatsby Mansion Inn and Restaurant is a magnificent Victorian heritage inn located in the heart of Belleville Park, on Victoria's scenic Inner Harbour. This masterpiece of Victorian architecture is at once imposing, graceful, warm and inviting. Built in 1897 from the proceeds of a 'Gold Rush' fortune, the entire property is a showcase of Victorian tradition, with elegant gardens, fountains, twinkling chandeliers, stained glass windows, hand-frescoed ceilings and an abundance of rich wood panelling. A perfect setting for the almost obligatory 'afternoon high tea'. The Gatsby Mansion features unique, individually appointed rooms (all with ensuite), and the latest modern amenities and conveniences. Guests may also enjoy the full range of off-property amenities and services on offer within Belleville Park. All rooms feature: ensuite, 27" TV with movie channels, clock radio, hair dryer, coffee maker, iron and board, refrigerator, fine soaps & toiletries, and balcony/walkout (select rooms). Guest room services include: room service, daily maid service, wake-up call, voicemail, wireless internet, daily newspaper at Front Desk and valet service. Our North Shore Harbour View Rooms are uniquely Victorian and offer views of the spectacular Inner harbour. Rates are for 2 people. Max occupancy is 2. Rooms offer either 1 king OR 1 queen bed. Children under 12 stay free sharing a room with parents Rates are for 2 people. The room caters for a maximum of 2 adults, and a maximum of 1 child but cannot exceed 2 guests in total. DRIVING DIRECTIONS: From the North Island and Victoria International Airport: Hwy 1S becomes Douglas St. Turn Right on Belleville, Left on Oswego, Right on Quebec St. to number 330. From the South: Ferry from Port Angeles, Bellingham or Seattle; hotel is within one block of auto & passenger ferry terminal. From the East: (Swartz Bay Ferry terminal/Sydney); Hwy 17 to downtown Victoria. Highway becomes Blanchard St. Turn Right on Belleville, Left on Oswego, Right on Quebec St. to number 330. AIRPORT & AIR TRANSPORT LINKS: Victoria International Airport YYJ : Several airlines operate daily connector flights to/from Victoria international Airport. The airport is approximately 10 miles north of the city proper so expect a $35 - $40 taxi fare. There is a hotel shuttle bus that leaves periodically throughout the day that will drop you at selected sites within the downtown area for around $13 CA. Limousine service is also available. Vancouver International Airport YVR: Vancouver International is a major hub for travellers from all around the globe. From Vancouver, you can connect to all transportation services operating to the Island and in and out of the Province. Nanaimo Airport YCD: Nanaimo airport, located on central Vancouver Island, is a modern air transportation gateway that is the primary air transportation gateway for the central Vancouver area. Air Canada - Air BC: Select flights fly directly into Victoria. Alaska Air: Daily flights between Seattle and Victoria. Helijet: Daily flights between Vancouver and Victoria downtown. Northwest Seaplanes: Float plane and land plane service to Vancouver Island and mainland BC. North Vancouver Air: Scheduled flights to Vancouver, Whistler, Tofino, Campbell River and Powell River. Kenmore Air: Daily flights between Seattle and Victoria Harbour. West Coast Air: Vancouver to Victoria Harbour Float plane service. WATER TRANSPORT: A Ferry: Our preferred water transport provider. Excellent connections to numerous destinations. BC Ferries: Extensive ferry system linking the Lower Mainland with Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. RAIL TRANSPORT: VIA Rail: Dayliner service between Victoria and Courtenay, BC. The best way to see Vancouver Island!
