Scenic Hotel Dunedin City Hotel (formerly Scenic Circle Dunedin City Hotel) was newly opened in March 2004 and boasts 110 rooms, both of standard and superior style. This Qualmark rated 4-Star-Plus hotel offers modern facilities to the leisure and corporate guest and the decor is warm and welcoming. Our hotel is also strictly non-smoking. We have recently attained an Enviro-Silver Sustainability rating through the Qualmark rating system and are committed to help protect the environment. We are extremely proud to win in both 2006 and 2008 Hotel of The Year for the Premier series of a large inbound wholesale company. Our studio style rooms offer king bed, two queen beds or two double beds configuration. We also have interconnecting rooms for large groups travelling together. We are happy to advise in winter we pump warm tempered gas-fired air throughout all rooms, corridors and public areas 24/7 - so you will never walk into a chilly room and have to wait for it to heat up. As well as our rooms, we also have an inviting Lounge Bar found behind reception, which adjoins on to our Princes on Dowling Restaurant. Our restaurant offers a variety of New Zealand and International cuisine, and a tasteful meal can be accompanied by a local Otago wine. Facilities of the hotel also includes a conference room that can seat up to 50 people, a gymnasium, dialup and broadband in all rooms, guest internet facilities, excursion bookings and a valet car parking service ($10 per night) Scenic Hotel Dunedin City is centrally located, found only two blocks from the Octagon, and central to many attractions.
