Welcome The Capricorn Motor Inn is located at 255 Melbourne Street MULWALA on the edge of Lake Mulwala just 100mt north of the bridge crossing the lake from Yarrawonga in Victoria, we have outstanding views of the lake and are also located next to ClubMulwala and are within easy walking distance of the other 2 clubs, restaurants and Yarrawonga shopping centre. We are only 800mt from Yarrawonga and Border Golf Club the largest privately owned 45 hole golf course complex in Australia, which has (2) two 18 hole championship courses and a 9 hole Executive course. There are a variety of other very good golf courses within easy driving distance from Yarrawonga/Mulwala, they include Cobram-Barooga 36 holes and Corowa 27 holes both are aprox 30 min drive, Tocumwal 36 holes and Howlong both aprox 50 min drive, there is also a selection of other courses within 1 hr drive. The mighty Murray River and Lake Mulwala are right on our doorstep and cater for the water sport enthusiast in all forms of water activities such as; water skiing, jet ski-ing, pasasailing and sailing.The Mulwala Waterski Club operates the Water Ski Park where many sanctioned events are held and this park can be hired for those dedicated tournament skiers as a training facility. For the fisherman there are plenty of fishing spots around the lake if you don't have a boat and up and down stream of the lake where you can go in search of that famous Murray Cod. Bowlers are also well catered for with three clubs which host bowling all year round. There are a large variety of world class wineries within 1 hr drive the majority are in the Rutherglen area, Tours can be arranged. Sport and leisure activities are available for the kids such as swimming, mini golf, water ski rides, paddle boats, water slides, fishing and a visit to the animal farm could well be in order. Two cruise boats operate on Lake Mulwala both have lunch and dinner cruises as well as scenic trips every day. The Ovens Explorer operates scenic river cruises up the Picturesque Ovens River.
