Mantra on Russell gives you the best of both worlds – the satisfying comforts of your own spacious apartment and the complete facilities of a luxury hotel. Our superb location is the ideal base for exploring this sophisticated cit, whether your visit is business or pleasure. We’re right in the heart in the bustling shopping district of Bourke Street mall and Collins Street with the CBD only a minute away. Melbourne’s diverse array of boutique shopping, theatres, restaurants and stylish bards are within a short stroll. Both the Crown Entertainment Complex and Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre are a fifteen minute walk or quick tram ride away. We have an indoor heated pool, spa sauna and gymnasium. Our contemporary restaurant and bar, “Up One” offers breakfast and dinner seven days a week (limited menu Sunday evenings). | Getting There |
The hotel is centrally located on Russell Street between Little Bourke Street and Lonsdale Street. The tram is a minute away on Bourke Street, bus is 25 metres away along Lonsdale Street and the train one and a half city blocks away (Melbourne Central or Parliament stations). From airport take freeway heading for Melbourne, continue on citylink tollway and take the Footscray Road turn-off. Continue along Footscray Road to the Latrobe Street “city access”. Travel along Latrobe Street for six city blocks. Turn right into Russell Street, cross over Little Lonsdale Street, then Lonsdale Street. The hotel is on the left between Lonsdale Street and Little Bourke Street. Car park entrance is to the right of the main hotel doors and is available for $30 per day. |

Car parking is under cover and next door, with direct access to the hotel. There are concessionary rates of $30.00 per day for hotel guests. The car parking is only valid until 12.30pm on day of departure. |
