The Ballroom offers many possibilities: from conferences and meetings to musical events and concerts. Venue hire includes choice of meeting rooms (lounges or ballroom) set up to different seating configurations. Overhead projectors/datashows, TV and video, whiteboard and flipcharts can be supplied (rate sheets available). Meal plan proposed: Registration coffee/tea, morning coffee break, luncheon and afternoon tea break included (menus available). Closing cocktail reception and hors d'oeuvres provided on request. | Getting There |
HOW TO GET TO COTTER HOUSE We are located in St Vincent Avenue, in Remuera, behind the Remuera Community Library on Remuera Rd. From the Southern Motorway from north or south: Take the Greenlane off-ramp, turn right towards Remuera and continue into Greenlane East Road. Take second left, St Vincent Avenue. Please note that this road takes a sharp right turn. Continue to the top. Cotter House is next to the library, second last driveway on the right. From the airport: Take the Southwest Motorway into town. Take Queenstown Road off-ramp and turn right over motorway, Queenstown Road then becomes Pah Road which becomes Manukau rd. Turn right into Greenlane Road West (quite a big intersection), continue through and cross Great South Road, until you reach the motorway interchange. Continue over highway. Take second left, St Vincent Avenue. Please note that this road takes a sharp right turn. Continue to the top. Cotter House is next to the library, second last driveway on the right. Taxi: We can arrange a special "meet and Greet". Taxi pickup and transfer for NZ$60 (minivan up to 7 people). Taxis we generally recommend are: Auckland Cooperative Cabs & Corporate Cabs. Please mention Cotter House to them to get a special discounted fare. The fare should be approximately NZ$55 dependant on time of day/night. The ride is approx 15 - 20 minutes most times except between 4:30-6:30pm and 7:30-9:00am when it will be about 35 minutes depending on traffic. You can also take an Airport Shuttle at approximately NZ$25 per person - delivered to the door - but it may take an hour or more to get to us as they stop along the way delivering other passengers. |
