Situated on the beautiful Noosa River, the Colonial Resort Noosa opened in August 2003. The Colonial Resort Noosa is a 4.5 star property offering everything desirable for a pleasurable holiday for the most discerning of guests! From the warmth of the beautiful bamboo floors, timber plantation shutters, large balconies with generous outdoor settings, to elegant furnishings & fittings, your comfort is assured in one of these spacious 1, 2 or 3 bedroom fully self contained, ensuited, self catering, airconditioned apartments. There is a Thai restaurant, Cafe, Hair & Beauty salon, French Patisserie & Convenience store/deli located in Colonial Resort Noosa for your convenience. There are also many award winning restaurants close by, offering a diverse range of exciting dining experiences just outside our door! Other features include Austar, DVD, CD stereo, Wireless Broadband Internet, Direct dial phones with data port and spa baths (in 2 and 3 bedroom apartments only). Guests may work out in our gym, relax in the sauna or spa, followed by a swim in the 25m heated lagoon style saltwater pool surrounded by lush tropical gardens. There are 3 bbq's, 2 in a large pavilion poolside, one on a timber deck under a big old tree. The Noosa Ferry stops opposite the property for those who wish to enjoy a gentle cruise on the river or guests may hire small water craft to explore the river at their leisure. Jet skis are also available for hire. Fraser Island, the world's largest sand island is at our doorstep and we are only too happy to arrange this or any other exciting or relaxing excursions from our Tour Desk |

| Parking |
The Colonial Resort has secure undercover carparking for 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments. 1 and 2 bedroom apartments have one car park per apartment in the secure car park. 3 bedroom apartments have 2 carparks per apartment in the secure carpark (these are tandem carparks). The studio room does not have secure parking, however the Colonial Resort has ample off-street parking for use by guests and visitors. |
| Things To Do |
Apart from the wonderful selection of restaurants and cafes, there are many wonderful excursions to enjoy. For the adventurous, we have "The Oceanrider", Camel Treks (along the beach), Off-shore Fishing Charters, Jet Ski Around Noosa Tour, Surf board Hire & Lessons. We have many championship golf courses including Noosa Springs, Hyatt Coolum & Twin Waters which are all within 30 minutes of Colonial Resort Noosa. The famous Eumundi Markets open early on Saturday & Wednesday mornings. They are very colourful and attract people from all walks of life bringing exciting crafts, gifts and fresh local produce. The 'Rose Lady' is particularly popular as is the 'mini donut' stall. Fraser Island is an ever popular destination to visit as is the world famous, Steve Irwin's, Australia Zoo. Tuesday evening is Jazz night on the River. Guests relax as they cruise & are entertained by some of the best Jazz musicians, whilst they take in the magic of sunset on the beautiful Noosa River. Noosa River attracts some wonderful wildlife, which is accessable by very well run Everglades Tours. Most of the tour providers will do door to door pick-ups.
