Silver Sands offers fantastic value in the heart of Hervey Bay. Hervey Bay is renowned for it's natural beauty and is the gateway to the World Heritage listed Fraser Island. Hervey Bay is also the Whale Watching capital with visitor's coming from all around the world to see the whales, from Late July through to early November. Situated directly opposite the wonderful Torquay Beach, Silver Sands is in the middle of it all with shops and restaurants literally within a minutes walk. So if you want to sit by the heated pool or laze on the beach, take a camping trip out on Fraser Island, spend the day watching the whales or take a flight up to the barrier reef for a day's diving it's all available right here at Silver Sands Apartments. |

Hervey Bay is located north of Brisbane, there are a number of possible routes when travelling throughout Queensland and Hervey Bay is a must see. PLANES Hervey Bay Airport has daily flights from Brisbane and Sydney with connecting flights also available. Taxis are available from the airport. TRAINS Queensland Rail have regular Tilt Train services into Maryborough West from either the north or south. There is a connecting bus service from Maryborough West directly to Hervey Bay. AUTOMOBILES Most visitors to Hervey Bay choose to travel by car. Hervey Bay is a comfortable 3 1/2 hour drive north of Brisbane. Travel via the Bruce Highway until Maryborough then follow the signs to Hervey Bay. As you enter the town stay on Boat Harbour Drive for approx 5km and look for a blue & green sign which says "Shelley Beach + Ann Street" and turn left. Follow Ann street right to the beach and we are on your right. |
