Mission Beach Resort is nestled amongst a Tropical Rainforest setting and is situated only 500m from Pristine Wongaling Beach overlooking Dunk Island. The resort grounds are quite extensive, featuring varied styles of accommodation, bars, dining, gaming, large bottleshop, bus station, and resort style shopping. Well-appointed air-conditioned resort style accommodation is offered in 4 different areas of the resort. Each room boasts its own private patio opening onto one of 4 landscaped pool and BBQ areas. Accommodation ranges from budget rooms to deluxe 4 1/2 star rooms and can suit most budgets. The Resort also offers Buffet dining every evening with a huge selection of over 80 dishes to choose from! There is a modern Gaming lounge for the more adventurous with 29 of the latest poker machines. The Locals Bar with TAB, Fox sports, Keno and pool tables is perfect for a relaxing evening in a friendly atmosphere and counter meals are also available in the Locals Bar for Lunch and Dinner. Mission Beach Resort is also a great stop off point for some unique and varied activities from Bushwalking and Island Hopping, to Reef trips, Snorkeling and Scuba Diving, Skydiving and White Water Rafting on the renowned Tully River. All tours can be booked through our friendly staff in Reception and discount vouchers are available for a selection of attractions. Check in after 2:00 PM, out by 10:00 AM. |

| Getting There |
Mission beach is located half way between Cairns and Townsville and is serviced by all major Bus Companies. The Bus Terminal for these companies is located only 100m from the reception area of Mission Beach Resort. Private coach companies such as Mission Beach Dunk Island Connections are also available from Cairns Airport and City Centre, and will bring you directly to Reception. Mission Beach is comprised of four suburbs and our Resort is located at Wongaling Beach. If you are self driving, from the Bruce Highway at El Arish, there is a turnoff to Mission Beach. Follow this road through the El Arish Ranges and turn right into Cassowary Drive. Then take the second left into Wongaling Beach Road. You will find Reception behind the bottleshop carpark. |
