Rutherglen Holiday Village is located on the banks of the South Esk River just off the Meander Valley Highway directly opposite the National Trust property Entally House. It is a ten minute drive from the centre of Launceston, five minutes from Launceston Casino and one minute from the Township of Hadspen. The delightful parkland setting offers a relaxing and tranquil environment for any holiday. We have twenty motel rooms all of 3.5 star rating, with king size beds,ensuite, tea/coffee/toaster facilities, 51" remote TV, iron and ironing boards. Our fully licensed "Hunt Club" Bistro is open seven nights a week, offering a wide selection to choose from our Blackboard Menu, we also have a special menu for the children. Our Tavern and bottle shop is open seven days a week. Sit back and relax near the open fire during those cold winter days or just watch your favourite sports on the big screen. Rutherglen offers you an Indoor Heated Pool,(seasonal) (closed June-November) Tennis Court,Walking or Jogging tracks, Guest Laundry, Games Room and Convenience Shop. We have excellent Convention and Wedding facilities. We can arrange tours or direct you to all the sights you wish to see on your visit to tasmania. |

| Getting There |
From the Airport (B54) you will travel about 4km to the (A1)sign Launceston.Travelling North towards Launceston you will come to a sign that will indicate Burnie-Devonport on your Left. Turn here and this will take you to the main free way (A1) You will travel about 6km and on your left you will see a sign that states Hadspen please turn here and follow the signs to Hadspen and Rutherglen is about 3km passed Hadspen over the bridge. We are directly opposite the National Trust property Entally House. From Devonport follow the (A1) and head to Launceston following the signs. Once past the turnoffs for Deloraine, Westbury and Carrick the next sign you will see on your left is a sign marked Hadspen. This is about 12km out of Launceston coming from Devonport. |

Childrens play ground,Games room. Tennis Court Walk to the historic National Trust Property "Entally House" On the Great Western Trail Tourist Route" - to Liffey Falls, King Solomons Caves, and on to Sheffield the town of murals. Only ten minutes from Launceston, and scenic drive up the West side of the Tamer to Beauty Point, across the Batman Bridge to Georgetown, returning to Launceston on the East side of the Tamar River. |
