From Melbourne, follow the Princes Highway to the 4th set of traffic lights. Beaches is 25 metres past the Banyan street lights on the left. From Adelaide and Hamilton, follow Raglan Parade and turn onto the south side of the highway at the lights after Liebig Street (McDonalds on corner). |

Warrnambool is just half an hour from the Great Ocean road, and 45 minutes from the Twelve Apostles. Local attractions include Flagstaff Hill Maritime Museum which features the 'Shipwrecked' Sound and Light show, Lake Pertobe adventure playground and the boardwalk. The whales can be seen between July and September at Logans Beach Whale Nursery. Warrnambool is also just a short drive to Port Fairy and Tower Hill, where there are great bush walks, native wildlife and a cultural centre. |
