The Glenrowan Motel is located opposite the site of the Glenrowan Siege, where Ned Kelly and his gang made their final stand. We are a small family owned and operated eight room motel offering traditional country hospitality and clean, comfortable accommodation set with a quiet and relaxed garden setting.

There is a pool and air conditioning for the warmer months and heating and electric blankets for the cooler months. Free broadband wireless internet is available in our reception area. We also offer free movies with DVD players available in all rooms. There is undercover parking with space for trailers and a summer-shaded or winter-warmed BBQ area adjacent to the pool. There is a playground across the road for the children and a park area to kick the footy. Hearty country hot or continental breakfasts can be delivered to you in your unit.

We are centrally located next door to the Glenrowan Hotel and within walking distance to Glenrowan's attractions. A short stroll takes you to all of Glenrowan's cafes and museums as well as the Glenrowan Siege precinct. The seige re-enactment is held at the annual Kelly Country Festival held in October and the Glenrowan Food and Wine Festival is held in June.

It is only a short drive to the Glenrowan wineries, Milawa food and wine gourmet region or the cellar doors of the King Valley. The Snowfields of the North East Alpine region of Victoria are only an hour and a half away. We are very close to the Winton Motor Raceway for the V8 Supercars, V8 Rides, Historic Cars, EasterNats and other events. For cyclists there are the Kelly Classic Bike Ride in October, the Murray to Mountains rail trail and Pedal to Produce: for bushwalkers the nearby Warby Ranges afford spectacular views from Mt Glenrowan or Ryan's Lookout. The Motel is also a popular place to stay to enjoy the renowned annual Jazz Festival in Wangaratta.

Getting There	We are just ten minutes south of Wangaratta and twenty minutes north of Benalla on the Hume Freeway. If you take the Glenrowan exit off the Hume Highway, a short one kilometre drive and you will find us on the main street opposite the park and next door to the Glenrowan Hotel.
Parking	Off-street, undercover parking right at the door to your room is available. Space available for trailers etc.
Things To Do	Visit the site of the 1880 Kelly Siege at Glenrowan and visit the local museums. Visit the local Glenrowan wineries, gourmet food and wine region of Milawa, and the cellar doors of the King Valley. Stopover to and/from your visit to the Alpine snowfields at Hotham, Mt Buller or Falls Creek. Stay at Glenrowan and enjoy the special events like the V8 Supercars or Historic events just 10 minutes away at the Winton Raceway.
