Sandy Bay is 21KM (20-30 mins) drive from Hobart Airport and less than 2 KM (15 mins walk) from Hobart city centre & just 10 mins walk to Battery Point & Salamanca Market. By car-when leaving the Airport, turn left onto the Hwy to Hobart. Follow signs to the City, Sandy Bay & Casino. Travel along Sandy Bay Road until you reach King Street (trafic lights) turn right, then (turn left) into Grosvenor St. Drive to the second Street, Princes St (turn left). Drive almost to the end of Princes St & Flinders Lane is a small one way Street on your right. Flinders Lane Apartments are the first building on your right with blue garage doors. The Airporter bus (located outside the Qantas terminal) will bring you to Mayfair Motel, Sandy Bay Road, just walk across the road to Princes St, walk up Princes St & Flinders Lane is the first Street on your left, Airporter Bus adult $9.20 pp. Return ticket $16.00 Taxi $30.00-$40.00 |
