We have an assortment of motels and cabins to suit all budgets. We cater for families of all sizes, and can accommodate bigger groups and teams. Our motels are fully self- contained with SKY TV. Our cabins are bunk bed style affordable units sleeping 3 to 6 guests per unit. A big common kitchen and bathroom complex is for the use of our Cabin guests. The cabins have TV, Fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery and the bed linen are provided free of charge.

We are located in a spacious and quiet area in Taupo - away from all the lakefront traffic noise, just 4 minutes to the CBD and close to AC Baths, Spa Park, Taupo Bungy, Taupo Golf Course and the Taupo Events Centre.

Family Motel’s friendly hosts will do their very best to make your family feel welcome and get the most fun and enjoyment out of beautiful Taupo.

Getting There When driving from the North, cross the Waikato River in town, and turn left in Spa road at the first and only round-about at Countdown. Proceed up Spa road, past the College on the left, and turn right into Tonga Street. We are the only business here, about 300 yards up the road.

When driving into town from the South (Turangi) or East (Napier), drive till you pass the last shops on your right, and turn right at the round-about at Woolworths into Spa road. Follow the instructions above.
