Ascot Motor Lodge boasts warm modern Studio, One Bedroom and Two Bedroom Units, all with kitchen facilities and off-street parking. We are located directly opposite Wellington Hospital, conveniently situated on the fringe of the CBD, and approximately 4 to 5km from the airport and Interislander Ferry. The Newtown shopping district is within 5 minutes walk and contains banks, supermarket, multi choice dining and general shopping. We are also a convenient base for your visit to Te Papa Museum, Cable Car, Waterfront, Westpac Stadium, Zoo, Parliament Buildings, Mt Victoria lookout, and so much more. Broadband, guest laundry facilities and breakfast are also available for guests.

Getting There	Ascot Motor Lodge is located directly opposite Wellington Hospital. In general follow street signage to the hospital and look for us directly opposite. From Wellington Airport, travel towards Wellington City on SH1 for 2.9 km. At the intersection of Ruahine and Wellington Roads, turn left and travel for 200m. Turn right and drive 850m to the bottom of Constable St. Turn right onto Riddiford St and look for Ascot Motor Lodge after 500m on the left hand side. If arriving by car on SH1, by Interisland Ferry, or by Train; exit onto the waterfront via Aotea Quay, which joins Waterloo Quay, joins Customhouse Quay, joins Cable Street. On Cable Street move to the right hand lane and turn right onto Taranaki Street. Travel 1.3 km in a straight line until the road joins Wallace Street, and then a further 900 meters to the conclusion of this road. Veer slightly right at this intersection and look for Ascot Motor Lodge after 250m on the right hand side.
Parking	A FREE guest carpark is available for each unit. Our parking is predominantly undercover and monitored by security cameras.
Things To Do	Ascot Motor Lodge is positioned on the fringe of Wellington CBD. It is easy for guests to leave their cars parked on-site, and explore the city by bus or on foot. All major attractions are located within 4km of our complex, including Newtown Shopping area with its many restaurants, takeaways, banks, supermarkets, chemists and general shops. Mt Victoria lookout, Te Papa, our National Museum, Cable Car & Botanical Gardens, Parliament Building tour, Zoo, Wellington Waterfront walk, theatres and the CBD are all close by.
