The hotel is made up of 8 London townhouses originally built in 1854, tastefully converted and refurbished to suit today's modern traveller, whilst still retaining a comfortable yet efficient atmosphere. The Phoenix is easy to get to, from the major airports and train stations. You are also well located for local underground or bus services, allowing you to make the most of your time, for work, or to explore the Capital's attractions with ease. Directions - By Rail Take the underground from one of London's main line stations. We are within easy walking distance from Queensway Central Line and Bayswater Circle Line. Turn left out of either station and walk towards Whiteley's Shopping Centre. Turn left again, and the hotel is 100 yards on the left. Directions - By Car From the M1 or M25 junction 21. Leave the M25 at Junction 21 and take the M1 south to the end. At the roundabout take the A5 and continue along the Edgware Road to Marble Arch. Turn right onto the A40 Bayswater Road. Continue along past Lancaster Gate. Hyde Park is on the left, turn right into Queensway. Proceed down until you reach Whiteley's Shopping Centre. The Phoenix Hotel is 100 yards on the left. From the M40 or M25 junction 16. Leave the M25 at Junction 16 and proceed onto the M40. Continue until you reach the exit marked M41. Proceed along the M41 until the next roundabout at Shepherds Bush, turn left here onto the A40 Holland Park Avenue, which becomes Bayswater Road. Turn left down Queensway, and left again at Whiteley's Shopping Centre. The Phoenix Hotel is 100 yards on the left. |

The City, Hyde Park, the exhibition halls of Olympia and Earls Court, great shops such as Harrods and Whiteleys Arcade, Oxford Street and Picadilly are all on your doorstep. Whiteleys is a lively, smart, cosmopolitan complex of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. Designer boutiques stand alongside chain stores in stunning marble surroundings. It also has an eight-screen cinema. Many shops are open late from Monday to Saturday. |
