The International is situated on the water's edge next to Canary Wharf, London's Docklands internationally famous office development, and home of many multi-national companies. A modern yet traditional hotel with every up to date facility, it is only minutes walk from South Quay Station on the Docklands Light Railway and Canary Wharf Station on the Jubilee Line. London City Airport, Excel Exhibition Centre, The 02 Dome, Greenwich and the West End of London are all within easy reach. The hotel is outside the congestion charging zone. Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharoahs exhibition at the O2 Dome is only one stop on the Jubilee Line. The hotel has 442 well-appointed air-conditioned rooms with double rooms as standard, the majority of which host zip and link beds. Rooms on the upper floors offer spectacular views of the Thames and the London skyline. | Getting There |
BY CAR From Tower Bridge Take the Docklands Highway (East Smithfield) towards Isle of Dogs and City Airport. Proceed through the Limehouse Link Tunnel and take the first exit - signposted Canary Wharf, Isle of Dogs. Turn right at the junction and continue on to Marsh Wall. From M25 Leave M25 at Junction 27. Join M11 south. Continue to the end of M11 and follow signs to A406 Docklands Isle of Dogs and connect with A13. Follow signs to the Isle of Dogs. The hotel sits to the south of Canary Wharf on Marsh Wall. BY RAIL Docklands Light Railway (DLR) Connections to the DLR can be taken from Bank and Tower Hill stations on the London Underground. The Hotel is situated only 3 minutes walk away from South Quay stations. When you leave the station, stay on same side of the road, turn right and walk 500m along Marsh Wall to hotel entrance on right. BY UNDERGROUND Canary Wharf Station on Jubilee Line is only 5 min walk away From Canary Wharf tube station: Leave station and turn left at top of escalators. Walk across to large glass arch shaped building 'Jubilee Place'. Walk through building to other side and cross bridge to other side of docks. Turn right at end of bridge and walk along dockside for 50m then take first left onto Marsh Wall via a car park. You will see the BUPA Health Assessment centre ahead of you. Stay on same side of road, turn right onto Marsh Wall and walk 100m to hotel entrance on right. |
