Tekapo Heights is a luxury Bed & Breakfast home overlooking Lake Tekapo and the spectacular visions of the Southern Alps. We are only 1 hours drive from Mt Cook and about half way between Christchurch and Queenstown, a comfortable 3-4 hrs drive. There are 2 rooms available for accommodation, built only 3 years ago. The rooms have every modern facilities including tea and coffee making facilities in each room and satellite TV. Rooms open outside onto paved areas to take advantage of the views. Tekapo Heights is only a 5 minute walk away from the many restaurants and take aways to be found in the village. There are many activities to do, from relaxing in the hot pools and spa to flying over Mt Cook and the Mackenzie area, or if you feel more energetic follow some of the many walk ways and tramping trails. Maybe even a day trip to Mt Cook and at night go star gazing. We can help with your bookings or they can be booked down in the village. |

| Getting There |
By car: Coming into Lake Tekapo from Christchurch end, go over the bridge. Pass the shopping area, opposite the last shop turn left onto Aorangi Crescent, then turn 2nd street on right, Andrew Don Drive, then next street on right, Sams Place. We are the 2nd house on the right, at the top of the street - Tekapo Heights sign out the front. Coming from the Mt Cook, turn right onto Aorangi Cresent, just as you enter Lake Tekapo. Then follow the above directions. Buses will drop off in the Village where we can pick you up. |
