Come and stay at Castlepoint Holiday Park & Motels. Wake to the sound of the waves, feel the sand between your toes. See one of the last attended lighthouses in New Zealand. Swim, surf, fish, dive, play golf or just relax. We are 2 1/2 hours from Wellington and 64kms east of Masterton, approximately 50 minutes drive. Situated on a safe sandy beach, we provide a range of accommodation options from camping and communal facilities, BBQ's children's playground, internet access, Linen hire. Kitchen cabins to sleep 2 - 8, motels to sleep 2 - 5 and larger accommodation units to sleep 8 - 29. Great for family gatherings. We are walking distance to the store and restaurant. Petrol available from the store. 4kms to the Marine Hotel, tennis court and golf course. We have storage for boats and jet skis. Easy launching right off the beach. |

Check in and registration is at the Holiday park reception. Please advise if you are arriving after 6pm we are approx 50 minutes from Masterton. There is no cell phone reception once you leave Masterton. Castlepoint has 027 coverage only. |

| Getting There |
We are 2 1/2 hours from Wellington by car via SHW 2, 2 hours from Palmerston North and 3 1/2 hours from Napier. There is no public transport from Masterton to Castlepoint. |

One car per unit which are located in the Holiday Park. We have a security cable gate for access. Off street parking is available |
| Things To Do |
Walk the long stretches of sandy beach. Investigate the fossil-rich limestone reef and magnificent 162m Castle rock. Walk around one of the last attended lighthouse in New Zealand. Enjoy the safe swimming for children in the sea with boggy boards or in the sheltered lagoon. Surf the gap or in front of the holiday park. Fish off the reef or bring a boat with easy launching. Dive for Paua or crayfish. Play golf at the local 9 hole course. Or just relax with a book |
