Stoke House is located in the village of Carcoar which is the third oldest settlement over the Blue Mountains. Stoke House incorporates the remains of the oldest surviving hotel in Carcoar (Victoria Hotel 1846) and after extensive renovations, now offers guests four ensuited rooms, two lounges and a balcony with magnificent views of the village. A cafe in sympathetic style to the old buildings and substantial gardens have been added to the rear of the original buildings and are also available to the public. A fully self-contained two bedroom cottage is also available for family or small group accommodation within the grounds. |

The Cottage
The Cottage is self contained with two bed rooms, one queen and one twin singles. It has a kitchen with full cooking facilities, a lounge/dining room, bathroom, toilet and laundry. Rates are for 4 people. Extra adults $25.00. Extra children $25.00. The room caters for a maximum of 5 adults, and a maximum of 3 children but cannot exceed 5 guests in total. During cafe operating times - 10am to 5pm. Check in can be organised at the cafe. At other times check in can be arranged by contacting the owners who live in the building. |

| Getting There |
Carcoar is located on the Mid Western Highway 12km south of Blayney NSW. Getting to Carcoar is best done by car although a bus service is available through Country Link. The bus stop is 150m from our door. Stoke House is located accross the bridge at Carcoar. When you drive accross the bridge you are looking directly at it on the right hand side of the road about 100m past the bridge. |

There is plenty of free parking both on-street and off-street within the grounds. |
| Things To Do |
Carcoar is located 50 to 55km from Bathurst, Cowra, Canowindra and Orange and is 12km south of Blayney. This area is the historical heartland of the development of country NSW and all of the abovementioned cities/towns have extensive tourist information services which cover the myriad of facilities and activities, both historical and modern, supported in the region. Carcoar itself is a beautiful village with many historic buildings including two museums and a court house. A walking map listing the attractions is readily available at most Carcoar businesses. The village has a public tennis court, playground, sporting and show grounds. Well maintained lawns on the banks of the Belubula River, running through the centre of town, provide many picnic sites and swimming areas (in summer). |
