The hotel is named after the close mausoleum of Saint Constance, originally built for Constantin’s daughter and later on, during the VI century, turned to baptistery for Saint Agnes Basilica. It gives access to catacombs dating back to the II and VI centuries. The hotel was recently renovated in order to join together modern comforts and the tradition of hospitality. The politeness and quality of our staff will make you feel at home. The brilliant and vivid colours of the carpet and the lovely couches in the large hall will welcome you; the carefully grown inner garden will grant you a time of peace and relax, while sipping drinks from our open bar. Our rooms are made to meet every Guest’s needs, especially families, who will enjoy the comfort of our property. The perfect location in the heart of Rome allows our Guests, even the ones who haven’t got a car, to reach the hotel very easily, being few steps away from the historical centre, near Termini train station and just 500 metres from the subway which will take you to the major tourist attractions. The ancient Villa Torlonia, the latest roman noble villa, surrounded by its gorgeous park, is 500 metres from the hotel. You can enjoy pleasant walks there in the princely manor and the green garden. The peculiarity of this place is the typical English style garden, one of the few cases in Rome, and the number of buildings and pieces of art in the park. Hotel Santa Costanza is very well taken care of, that’s why it perfectly welcomes its Guests in a large lobby with a reception desk open 24 hours a day, safety box, money exchange, luggage storage and wardrobe.
