| Getting There |
We are in National Park Village which is at the intersections of Highways 4 and 47. Carroll Street is the last street heading north and we are about 300 metres from the main highway, just past the school on the left. From AUCKLAND - Take Highway 1 South to Ngararawahia, turn right onto Highway 39 to Otorohonga, turn right on to Highway 3 to Eight Mile Junction (not a town, just 2 roads), turn left on to Highway 4 to National Park Village. Carroll Street is the first on the right. From ROTORUA, TAUPO, TAURANGA, NORTH EAST etc - Take Highway 1 South from Taupo to Turangi, turn right on to Highway 41 and after 2 kilometres turn left on to Highway 47 and take this road to it's end at National Park Village, turn right on to Highway 4 and Carroll Street is the last on the left. From WELLINGTON, SOUTH etc - North on Highway 1 to Waiouru, turn left on to Highway 49 through Ohakune to Tohunga Junction (not a town, just 2 roads), turn right on to Highway 4 to National Park Village and Carroll Street is last on the right. |
