Coolwaters Holiday Village offers a genuinely friendly atmosphere overlooking the Causeway Lake. Our property consists of 23 fully self-contained cabins and units in varying sizes, all with private ensuites. All you need to bring is your beach towel and your own food and drinks. Most of our cabins have great lake and park views. Our 35 acre park also features a saltwater pool, covered children's playground, jumping pillow and a beach volley ball court. We also have a small games room and a full size tennis court. We are within walking distance from a popular local take-away food kiosk, and within a 5 to 10 minute drive away from several restaurants and take-away food outlets. If you would like to get a bit of exercise while you’re staying with us, our park has some great bush walking tracks. Tai-Chi classes are also held within the park and indoor bowls is played three times a week if there are sufficient players. The spacious grassy areas of our park also have free gas barbeque facilities. |

| Getting There |
We are located on the Scenic Highway, 11 kilometres south of Yeppoon and 5 kilometres north of Emu Park opposite Kinka Beach on the southern shores of the Causeway Lake. Youngs Buses from Rockhampton Airport and train station stop right outside the door. |

While staying at Coolwaters Holiday Village, you can enjoy the Capricorn Coast's great beaches, cruise to Keppel Island by either fast cat or yacht and enjoy a snorkel, swim or dive in the pristine water. Why not hire a kayak, catamaran or tinny to drift around the Causeway Lake or drop in a fishing line? While staying with us you can visit the beautiful Byfield area with its running streams, pottery, tea tree farm, distillery and rainforest eco cruise. Other attractions in the area include Koorana Crocodile farm, Horse & Carriage Museum, Peter Brock's Racing Display including a fabulous light & sound show and Footlights Theatre Restaurant, just to mention a few - or just enjoy the relaxing ambience of the park itself. |
