Castaway Hotel & Apartments is located down a quiet long driveway right in the main shopping area. Views are rural and to the Island's central mountains. The setting is a well established subtropical garden including palms and a magnificent banyan tree. The hotel is colonial in style and boutique in size. The Hotel prides itself on providing good comfortable rooms with friendly family run hospitality. Guests enjoy the staff on reception and the common areas of the fireside lounge, the restaurant, the games room and conference/meeting room. The property is 2kms from the airport and 4kms from the main swimming beach. There are 10 apartments and 13 hotel rooms. Three of the apartments were built with the disabled in mind. |

One Bedroom Apartment
The one bedroom apartment is spacious. Decor is modern. There is a verandah to appreciate the view. There is a kitchen/lounge/dining room, bathroom, and bedroom. It is nice to have the flexibility of your own full kitchen. Rates are for 2 people. The room caters for a maximum of 2 adults, and a maximum of 1 child but cannot exceed 2 guests in total. The Hotel Garden Room is spacious. Decor is a mix of modern and colonial. The buildings are all single storey. All rooms have a verandah with outlooks to the garden and beyond. Enjoy the tranquility with a cup of tea/coffee, read a book or watch TV. Rates are for 2 people. Business FacilitiesMost people are holidaymakers. Prepaid internet and mobiles can be sourced from the 2 local providers. There is a meeting room that can seat 14 people in boardroom style. The central location is suitable for salespersons visiting the Island. |

Check-in is at Reception. Reception is open 8.00am to 5.00pm. All out of hours check ins are personally met at Reception. Guests are then taken to their room or apartment. |

| Getting There |
All flights leave from the International terminals to fly to Norfolk Island. You need a passport or letter of identity. When you arrive at Norfolk International Airport you will be greeted by Norfolk Touring and taken by bus to the Hotel. The Hotel provides these transfers with compliments. |
| Parking |
All parking is off-street in front of Reception or your apartment. Parking is free of charge. |
| Things To Do |
The Hotel is in the shopping centre. Walk down the driveway and on hand is the supermarket, many shops, restaurants, cafes, and tour/booking offices. The RSL club and Bowling Club are nearby. Free use of tennis court and pool at sister establishment Highlands Eco Lodge & cottages. |
