The Cambridge Hotel Backpackers is a small backpackers offering 16 rooms in total. The available room configurations are below:

Our backpackers is situated directly above a live band venue, where we host great live gigs every week.

On most nights, great value meals can be purchased from our pub. Our guests can enjoy a free breakfast provided in our backpacker’s kitchen daily.

Guests can plan the rest of their trip or keep in contact with friends online, with internet access available.

Please note that we require credit card details and a personal ID number upon arrival, As well as a $40 Cash Key Deposit.

Check In Instructions Check-in is from 2pm onwards. If arriving late and the pub is closed, ring the after hours bell and contact the phone number provided on the backpackers front door. A key deposit of $40 cash is required, returnable on check-out.

Getting There Travelling by train:
We are just a three minute walk from Wickham station. Simply walk up to Hunter street, turn right and then walk about 150 meters. You will find us on your left.

Travelling by bus:
A free bus travels from Newcastle bus station via the Cambridge Backpackers, with a bus stop nearby.
Parking Free parking is available next to Cambridge Backpackers which has 24hour video surveillance.
