Designed for the comfort of that well deserved short break or the sharing of that special holiday time with friends and family. Our complex consists of: - five x one bedroom apartments - nine x two bedroom apartments - six x three bedroom apartments - two x four bedroom Penthouses Each Shores apartment contains: - A full sized kitchen with a stylish stainless steel cooktop, under bench oven and dishwasher. - The kitchen also includes a microwave for your convienience. - An ensuite bathroom - A 2nd bathroom in two and three bedroom apartments only - A 3rd bathroom in Penthouse apartments only - Television with free to air TV and AUSTAR - DVD player - Huge wrap around balcony(s) with gas BBQ and outdoor furniture - Air conditioning - Free internet access within the apartment Shores Penthouses Spoil yourself with friends and family in one of our luxury penthouse apartments. They consist of four bedrooms with one queen, one double and two x two single beds. Our Penthouses have breathtaking views from every room over two levels. The master bedroom has an ensuite with a walk in wardrobe, flat screen TV with AUSTAR and fantastic views over the ocean. The huge wrap around balconies offer 180 degree panaromic views of Main Beach, the magnificent waterways and oyster leases of Wallis Lake, Pebbly Beach, the township of Forster and the surrounding majestic ranges while enjoying the eight person spa, and a built in BBQ with extensive entertaining areas. Shores Apartments are conveniently located a short stroll from: - The town centre, where you will find an array of fantastic cafes, restaurants and shopping. - Located on the lake front is Amaroo Cruises, which will take you through the spectacular waterways surrounding Forster on their famous Whale and Dolphin Watching Excursions. - Main Beach, featuring a family friendly swimming pool, where you can also experience casual dining right on the beach, or for a more sophisticated dining experience try the Dorsal Restaurant opposite the beach. -Pebbly Beach, where you can experience the pride of the Forster community through their wonderful commemorative walk to the point and beyond. Take in the spectacular breath taking views this side of Forster has to offer. You may find yourself at georgous One Mile Beach. Forster Attractions: Forster is a fantastic location for families with children of all ages, young adults, couples and the adventurers. There are lots of fantastic walk ways around Forster and Tuncurry. An extensive array of water activities are also catered for, including fishing, kayaking, sailing, diving, game fishing, boating and windsurfing. Young people are catered for too, with ten pin bowling and the Ton-O-Fun fun park nearby. The local art community exhibits on an annual basis. | Getting There |
Forster is approximately three hours drive north of Sydney, 1½ hours drive north of Newcastle and eight hours drive south of Brisbane. Coming in from the South. Turn off the Pacific Highway approximately five kilometres North of Nabiac on to Failford Road. This turn off comes up quite suddenly so keep a look out once you have gone passed the Nabiac turn off. Follow Failford Road until you come to a T-interesection. This road is The Lakes Way. Turn right onto The Lakes Way, follow through to Tuncurry and over the bridge into Forster. Continue straight ahead, at second roundabout before lights turn left into Beach Street, follow to end of street then turn right into North Street, follow to the end of North Street and turn right at intersection follow around into the one way street, North Lane. We are the third driveway on the left hand side. Drive up the visitors ramp to Reception. From North Turn off the Pacific Highway approximately 10 kilometres South of the second Taree turn off onto The Lakes Way. Follow this road through Tuncurry and over the bridge into Forster. Continue straight ahead, at second roundabout before lights turn left into Beach Street, follow to end of street then turn right into North Street, follow to the end of North Stree and turn right at intersection follow around into the one way street, North Lane. We are the third driveway on the left hand side. Drive up the visitors ramp to Reception. The nearest airport to Forster is Taree Airport, about 30 minutes drive from the Shores Apartments. Taree Airport is serviced by Regional Express, (REX). Newcastle Airport is serviced by Jetstar, Virgin Blue and QantasLink. |
