Ararat is approx 2 hours drive along the Western Freeway from Melbourne and is approx 5-6 hours from Adelaide by car. There are regular bus and train services. The train station is only 800m from the motel. |

| Things To Do |
Ararat offers tours of J Ward (open 364 days of the year) and tours of the Historic Aradale Asylum every Sunday. The Gum San Chinese Heritage Centre is open 7 days a week. There are several museums and art gallery to look through. Ararat is the Gateway to The Grampians and on the way visit Moyston the birthplace of Aussie Rules Football. The area also boasts wineries and olive groves. Great Western, just up the road is famous for wine. Take an underground tour at Seppelts. |
