Nestled amongst peaceful birch trees, with superb views of the majestic Fiordland mountains, Birchwood Cottages is Te Anau accommodation in true New Zealand style. A 5 minute walk from town centre, Birchwood Cottages is a secluded getaway within easy access of all the amenities of the town and the beauty of Lake Te Anau.

We have two separate self-contained units featuring distinguishing modern styling and are secluded and private. They are fully furnished, and include a queen bedroom with ensuite, open plan lounge and modern kitchen, bathroom, private deck and full heating facilities.

Te Anau is the best base for exploring the Fiordland region. From here it is an easy two hours drive to Milford Sound and twenty minutes drive to Lake Manapouri and the start of a Doubtful Sound excursion. The road to Milford Sound is considered to be one of the world's finest alpine drives.
SHUTTLE SERVICE We have our own shuttle servive with either a small coach or a Rolls Royce Car.
This is complimentary from the Te Anau airport and by arrangemenmt from Queenstown.
