| Getting There |
A bus stop is conveniently located at UWS Village’s doorstep. A five minute bus ride will take you into the Parramatta CBD and a 40 minute bus ride will take you into the heart of Sydney City. Also nearby are Parramatta train station, Parramatta Valley Cycle Way and The Rivercat by Parramatta River, one of the most delightful ways to get around. Parramatta CBD is also home to the free City Council bus, The Loop. The Loop is environmentally friendly and connects tourists, residents and commuters to the commercial, retail and recreational landmarks of the City Centre. |
| Parking |
Secure metered parking is located on University grounds for $6.00 per day (valid until midnight). University security patrol the grounds regularly and the driveway entry gates are locked at 11.00pm and reopen at 6.00am. There is also free street parking located just outside the Village, with 24 hours pedestrian access. |
| Things To Do |
The heart of the Parramatta CBD is a 10 minute drive from the Village, where you will find a number of local attractions for sporting to community groups. These include The Riverside Theatre, Parramatta Stadium, Parramatta Pool, Old Government House at Parramatta Park, The Laugh Garage (the oldest surviving pub in Australia) and many others, all within walking distance from one another. |
