On request, the UWS Village is able to organise faxes, e-mails and photocopies at only a small cost. We also have computers down in reception, and wireless internet access in the units for a small fee. Contact the UWS Village reception for more details on the cost of these facilities. |

Check in is available from 2pm, with check out by 10am. Reception is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 7pm. If you know you are going to be arriving outside of these hours, please contact UWS to arrange alternative arrangements. |

| Getting There |
Are you flying into Sydney? You have 2 options: By Train or By Taxi By taxi it will cost you around $60-$72, and will take about 35 minutes. You can catch a taxi at the Taxi Rank at the airport, domestic or international. By train will cost you $20 per Adult, $10 per child & $10 per concession card when you purchase a My Multi Ticket. This ticket will give you access on both the train and bus, which you will require. To get to UWS by train, just simply catch the Airport & East Hills train to Central Station. Sydney. Alight that train and hop onto the North Shore & Western Train to Parramatta Station. From here you will alight the train and catch Bus number M52 from the Interchange Stand A2. Once on the bus, you will alight the bus on the 6th stop (stop number 215095). Then its just a short walk to UWS. The total trip will take you about 1 hour and 15 minutes. For those of you who will be driving, the UWS Village is easy to get to. We are on the corner of Pemberton Street and Victoria Road. Victoria Road runs off James Ruse Drive and this road is connected to M4 Western Motorway. Coming from the other direction, you can hope off the M2 Motorway by taking the Windsor Road exit, then turn onto James Ruse Drive. |
| Parking |
Secure parking is located on the University grounds at a low cost $5.00 per day, per car. But there is also free street parking available, which is located just outside the Village. For more information on the parking, please contact UWS Village reception. |
| Things To Do |
With our great location, you are close to all the action. With the heart of Parramatta CBD only a 10 drive from the Village, this is where you will find a number of local attractions which also houses the biggest shopping complex, Westfield Parramatta. There are plenty of activities to keep you busy during your stay ranging from the local markets, Rosehill Racecourse, the Riverside Theatre, heaps of shopping and the trendiest family-friendly restaurants in Sydneys west. Parramatta is also well renowned for their sporting spirit, with the Parramatta Eels Rugby League Club playing down at the Parramatta Stadium, this is something no sporting fan should miss. But its just not the shops, racecourse, theatres or the sporting action that makes Parramatta stand out from the rest, but its also the rich history the area has to offer. UWS Village is close to most of the great Australian historical attractions too. Some of these include The Old Government House at Parramatta Park, The Lancer Barracks (Linden Military Museum), Australias oldest cemetery The St. Johns Cemetery and the winner of the 2003 Sir Zelman Cowan Award the impressive St. Patricks Cathedral. So making UWS Village your base camp for your stay is the perfect and safest bet you could make on your entire trip. |
