On the doorstep are golden sand beaches and beautiful nature and wildlife. It is the place to get away from it all. There is no cell phone coverage at Awaroa. We have everything onsite to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Awaroa Lodge is unique, an experience of a lifetime. At the quiet northern end of Abel Tasman National Park, Awaroa Lodge is the perfect vantage point to explore the famous Abel Tasman Coastal Track - the most beautiful of all New Zealand's 'Great Walks'. Every journey is unique from paddling the coastline by sea kayak to walking through native forests and across vast coastal inlets to secluded bays of golden sands and turquoise waters. |

Our family rooms are open plan with a mezzanine floor. Each room has ensuite bathroom, lounge and outdoor seating. Ideal for 4 Adults and 2 children. Rates are for 4 people. Extra adults $90.00. Extra children $90.00. The room caters for a maximum of 4 adults, and a maximum of 4 children but cannot exceed 6 guests in total. The following bedding is provided:

| Getting There |
There are 3 ways to get to Awaroa: Water taxi: Scheduled water taxis leave from either Kaiteriteri or Marahau about an hour from Nelson. Booking is essential Flight: You can arrive in style by either fixed wing or helicopter with flights leaving from both Nelson and Motueka Walking: You can get to us by walking the Abel Tasman track. From Marahau, you would spend a night in Anchorage and arrive at Awaroa on the second day. Luggage transfers can be arranged with the water taxi company. |

| Things To Do |
We are located in the Abel Tasman National Park a great place to relax and a good base for walking both north and south sections of the track. There is also sea kayaking, sailing and fishing trips available. If you don't feel like doing anything, then the beach is 5 minutes away and you can chill out there. |
