The Landing Napier opened January 2008 and is located at 142 Thompson Road, Napier. Thompson Road is the location of many of Napier's finest homes, both old and new. The Landing is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac on the side of Bluff Hill. Our modern 3 level home sits high above the road. The lounge, The Bayview Suite and the front BBQ and deck area have expansive views over Hawke Bay, the Kaweka ranges and across Ahuriri to the airport. The front of the lounge opens up to the large deck to make the most of the indoor / outdoor living and the beautiful Hawke's Bay weather. Have a swim in the lap pool, cook your own BBQ, and have a drink and enjoy the views. Sit and enjoy your breakfast in the brilliant morning sun watching the yachts and boats in the bay and the ever changing seascape. After checking in, enjoy a complimentary bottle of Hawke's Bay wine while watching the colour of the sea change as the sun sets. The Landing has 3 double rooms all with ensuite or private bathroom and fridge and tea and coffeee making facilities. Jill and Allan will assist you with any bookings for tours, wineries, restaurants, etc. We also offer a free pick up from the airport. We are dedicated to making sure that your stay in the Bay is a pleasant one. Breakfasts on the deck are special, with Jill using local fruits and home made preserves, yoghurt and meusli to start with and then a choice of cooked items. A choice of evening platters is available for those guests who have had a busy day perhaps visiting a winery, sight seeing, swimming at the beaches or in our lap pool. Or you may just like a drink and a snack before going out to dinner. Please note that The Landing is not suitable for children or pets. |

Bayview Suite
This large light-filled bedroom has a king size bed and also has its own balcony. It occupies the front of the top floor that presents an ever-changing view of the bay, hills and sky. It also has a large ensuite with a shower, bath and under floor heating Rates are for 2 people. The room caters for a maximum of 2 adults. The following bedding is provided:

Business FacilitiesThe Landing is ideal if you need to do a bit of business as well. There is broadband, computer and printer as well as peace and quiet. We have had a couple of authors stay with us and spend their time writing. |

| Getting There |
When in Napier, travel north towards the port from the I-site, along Marine Parade and, just after the Pool complex, turn left into Coote Road. Drive past the Centennial Gardens to Thompson Road (3rd on right). Drive up Thompson Road and turn left so the water tower is on your right. Continue down Thompson Road to the T junction. Turn right there and drive to the end, 100 meters, where you will see The Landing sign on your right. Park off the road in front of the double garage door. |
