Grand Opening in November 2009! Opera Garden Hotel & Apartments is located in a pedestrian street in the heart of Budapest, just a few blocks away from the Opera House and Andrássy Street. The 110 years old building was restored with contemporary design and high technology where business and leisure travelers, families and guests arriving for the reason of medical treatments can stay as comfortable as they feel at home. Sauna, jacuzzi and fitness machines can guarantee the total relaxation and refreshing in our Wellness area. Technically equipped business lounge for 6 and meeting room for 20 people are available for our guests and partners. Alternatively our roof terrace is a perfect choice for special events and parties. The hotel has 29 rooms and 6 apartments. There is a fully equipped kitchen in every room. In addition, all rooms provide minibar, safe, free WIFI internet access, Art Cool air-conditioning, big screen LCD television, soundproof windows, direct telephone line, free coffee and tea making facilities as well as qualitative bathroom toiletries. A special apartment was constructed for disabled guests on the ground floor. |

From the Airport by public transport: Take the train from the airport to the Western Railway Station (Nyugati Pályaudvar). Then change to tram 4 or 6 (right in front of the station) and get off at Oktogon (one stop), either change for the underground to the Opera (one stop) or walk on the right side of Andrássy Street facing west. Take the third turning on the right into Hajós Street. Go straight on and the hotel is on your left. Alternatively, take bus 200E or 93 at the airport and get off at Kobánya-Kispest. Change for the M3 metro line and get off at Arany János Street. Cross Bajcsy-Zsilinszky Road at the traffic lights and turn left. Turn into Hajós Street. The hotel is on your right, on the corner of Hajós and Zichy Streets. From the Eastern Railway Station by public transport: Take the metro (M2 – red line) and at Deák Square change for the M1 line (the Millennium Underground) and go two stops to the Opera. Then go along Hajós Street (it is on the right side of the Opera House) and the hotel is on your left. From the Southern Railway Station by public transport: Take the metro (M2 – red line) and at Deák Square change for the M1 line (the Millennium Underground) and go two stops to the Opera. Opera Garden Hotel & Apartments is perfectly located in the historical city centre of Budapest, in the fashionable area of World Heritage Andrássy Street. It is in a marvellous pedestrian Street with terraced restaurants, cafés and bars. This new hotel is just a few blocks from the Opera House, only minutes’ walk from most of the tourist attractions and the underground. The area stretching from the Opera to Oktogon (Hajós Street, Jókai Square, Liszt Square, Nagymezo Street) is the most exciting place in terms of entertainment, cultural experience and adventures in the neighbourhood. It has a bustling nightlife and it is considered one of the trendiest neighbourhoods in Budapest with its multitude of elegant and up-to-the-minute terraced cafés, bars, restaurants and theatres. Tourists with an interest in couleur locale should visit one of the ruin pubs (Szimplakert, Szimpla, Dupla) close to Liszt Square. Located in old blocks of flats, their atmosphere is characteristic for Pest and they are cosmopolitan in nature at the same time. These pubs always throng with international youth. |
