Our staff will be delighted to share their love of Bali to enrich your holiday experience. If you wish to learn more about the gentle pace of village life or experience the vibrant cultural traditions; if you would you like to see a temple ceremony or learn more about the medicinal and cooking uses of Balinese fresh herbs and spices; or visit an art gallery, bird watch or get great prices on silver jewellery or handmade glassware?..the choice is yours. Being located in Ubud, all this is on our doorstep. A short drive takes you to the various villages, each specializing in a particular craft: silver and goldsmiths in Celuk, mask carving and shadow puppets in Puaya, stone carving in Batubulan, dance and gamelan in Batuan and so on. Let us know if Balinese cooking is of particular interest. We can either arrange for you to join one of the local Cooking Schools or you can just watch and learn from our own chef. Parties and large events can be catered in-house or in conjunction with well-respected caterers. Personal wedding co-ordination is available to ensure a worry-free experience. Lastly, but most importantly, we want to ensure that you can totally relax, unwind and recharge. We believe that we have provided the facilities and services to make this not just possible but unavoidable. | Getting There |
Amori is situated 5 kms by road from the centre of Ubud, which is 36km north-east from Bali's International airport. This haven of luxurious seclusion is on the edge of the traditional rice farming village of Pejeng Kawan and yet it is only a few minutes drive from the cultural and artistic centre of the island. There are two ways to find Amori: 1. Find it yourself. First stop is Ubud which you can reach by car, taxi or bus. Then head towards the Maya Ubud Resort (which is on the opposite side of the Petanu River to where we are), then Pejeng Kawan and Banjar Dukuh. Once you are in Dukuh just ask someone to point the way to Amori. 2. Ring Amori on 0361 8987799. For stays of 4 days or more, we offer a free transfer from and to Denpasar airport. Otherwise, we will still arrange your transport for an agreed fee. |
