Swan Lake Guest House is a timeless, gracious home on 4 hectares offering beautiful, elegant accommodation. We aim to cater for your needs and ensure you have a relaxing experience away from home. The Guest House has 5 luxurious bedrooms to choose from, each having stunning ensuite bathrooms with a jacuzzi. "Tchaikovsky Room" Named after the famous Russian composer of the Swan Lake ballet, the "Tchaikovsky Room" is the ideal place to sit and relax around the double sided, French made, Cheminees Philippe fireplace in winter, or outside on the verandah in summer with your favourite glass of champagne or local wine. Soak up the breathtaking sunsets and enjoy the antics of the native wildlife at your doorstep, or watch the boats sailing past in Western Port Bay. While enjoying your delicious buffet breakfast overlooking the bay, you can catch up on the morning news with the daily newspapers. Swan Lake Guest House is situated in close proximity to the many attractions Phillip Island has to offer. "Walk to the Penguins". Yes, only a 10 minute walk to the world famous Penguin Parade or a 2 minute drive. Seal Rocks, Nobbies - a 10 minute scenic drive. View Australia’s largest fur seal colony through state of the art cameras, or to have an even closer look, take a cruise from the Cowes Pier. At our gateway, enjoy a relaxing walk to the beautiful Swan Lake nature reserve and see and hear the variety of different species of birds that inhabit the only permanent freshwater lake on Phillip Island. If you feel inclined to have a swim, surf or relax in the sun, walk across the road to the magnificent Flynn's Reef Beach. The main town of Cowes, ten minutes away, has many shops, cafes and restaurants to choose from. The region is renowned for its seafood, beef, lamb, and cheese. For the wine connoisseurs, there are a number of vineyards offering tastings, a short drive away. Other activities and attractions include: surfing, golf, cycling, fishing, horse riding, snorkelling, bird watching, ten-pin bowling, go-karting, mini-golf, visiting art galleries and museums such as the Vietnam Veterans Museum. |

| Getting There |
Road: An easy 90 minute drive from Melbourne CBD via the M1 Freeway to the South Gippsland Highway (M420). Then follow signs to Phillip Island. If departing from north of Melbourne take the Eastern Freeway (East Link) to the M1 Freeway and then proceed via either Cranbourne or Koo Wee Rup (Pakenham). Once on the Island, follow the signs to the Penguin Parade. Swan Lake Guest House is on the left just before the Penguin Parade. Bus: take the Phillip Island bus from the Southern Cross Station (Melbourne). By request we will pick up from the Cowes bus terminus. |
