600m to the Brisbane Transit Centre serviced by all major coach companies and trains 15km to the international/domestic airport. Take the Coachtrans shuttle bus direct to the YHA, or catch the Airtrain to Roma Street Station then walk 600m to the YHA. |

Brisbane (AKA 'Brisvegas') is a vibrant city renowned for its outdoor lifestyle. Cruise along the Brisbane River, enjoy city views from Mt Coot-tha, climb the Story Bridge or visit the South Bank Parklands and browse the weekly markets. Take a day trip to Moreton Island, cuddle a koala at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, take a day trip to Australia Zoo, have a blast at Dreamworld, or visit the Gold Coast hinterland. Watch a concert or football game at Suncorp Stadium, just a 5 minute walk from our front door, or take in a show at QPAC. Some of Brisbane's backpacker hotspots include the dining and entertainment precincts in the Valley, Caxton Street, West End and South Bank. All are located close to the hostel, and ideal for Brisbane City YHA Backpackers Hostel guests. The Drifters Caf?/Bar /Bistro is also open to guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner (limited hours). |
