Not until I stayed in a small boutique hotel in Taiwan - where bell boys always knew me by name, told the taxi driver where I needed to go without any prompting on my part, and brought me a homemade cake when I came back hungry at midnight. I then realised what made a difference in a hotel - the personalised services. Thereafter, I always dream of running my own hotel that creates a unique and memorable experience to our guests. BEST LOCATION IN HONG KONG – WANCHAI As always, start with the best location because, like you, I want everything and everywhere to be just around the corner – and if a place is not near, I want to be able to get there in a flash. Mingle Place with The Star is a mere 5 minutes’ walk from the Wanchai MTR (subway) station, which takes you to everywhere else in Hong Kong. 1 minute's walk takes you to the Airport Express bus stop and access of the unique Hong Kong trams! You are 5 minutes' walk from the MTR (subway) station, and 10 minutes' walk to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The hotel is literally SURROUNDED by HUNDREDS of restaurants and shops, anything from gourmet to 24-hour fast food, from AUTHENTIC Chinese to Malysian/Indian to McDonalds/KFC are just steps away.
