Brookvale enjoys a tranquil setting alongside a spring-fed stream in the heart of Wanaka with views out over a quiet reserve towards Lake Wanaka and the Southern Alps. Only a two minute walk from the centre of town. There are 10 quality self-contained rooms available. All rooms have their own balcony or courtyard. Each unit includes queen sized bed plus single bed, full kitchen facilities, microwave, ensuite bathroom, telephone, wireless internet access, SKY television, underfloor and wall heating. We are eco-friendly, and use a chemical-free cleaning system (Enjo) and eco-products are provided for guest use, as well as recycling bins being available in our aim towards continual improvements to keep our environment beautiful and pristine. |

Lake Wanaka lies at the gateway to Mount Aspiring National Park, a pristine environment of striking mountains and deep alpine lakes. Hikers, climbers and day walkers from around the world enjoy the area's spectacular natural beauty. During the long hot summers the lake and beaches provide all that sun-seekers and boating enthusiasts could wish for, and the fly-fishing is superb. There's also a wealth of outdoor adventures, from mountain biking to canyoning, golf to kayaking. In winter Wanaka is home to four international ski areas, Cardrona, Treble Cone, Snow Farm and Snow Park, with something for everybody from powder to terrain parks, cross-country to downhill. It's also a land for relaxing, surrounded by inspirational scenery; a place to enjoy award-winning wines and fine food and to experience the arts and culture influenced by the spectacular setting, including the area’s pre-eminent celebration of the arts - the Southern Lakes Festival of Colour. |
