The Runaway Bay Motor Inn is situated in a quiet residential area at the far northern end of the Gold Coast in South East Queensland and is ideally located for easy access; and just 15 minutes drive; to many of the major tourist attractions the Gold Coast has to offer including Movieworld, Dreamworld, Seaworld, Wet'N'Wild Water World and Harbour Town (Factory Outlet) Shopping Centre and Entertainment Complex. This establishment is set amidst quiet tropical surroundings and comprises of 41 luxury motel style units. Standard Double Units consist of a Queen Bed plus Settee, with our Standard Family Units comprising of a Queen Bed plus 2 Single Beds. All units have been superbly appointed and contain all the modern luxuries of Remote Control Colour Television, Direct Dial STD & ISD Telephone, Bedside Clock/Radio, Ceiling Fans, Reverse Cycle Air Conditioning, Hair Dryer and Kitchenettes which are fully equipped with Microwave, Fridge, Sink, Toaster,Electric Jug, Crockery and Cutlery. Courtyard Spa Units comprise of either a King Bed plus Settee or a Queen Bed plus 2 Single Beds. As well as containing all the modern appointments of a Standard Room each unit has it's own individual private Courtyard area which features an outside two person Spa Bath. Executive Suites have a separate bedroom area consisting of a King Bed with Ensuite which features a two person Spa Bath. Lounge, Dining Room, Kitchen with cooking facilities and private balcony. Our fully licensed A-La-Carte Restaurant, "The Portly Pelican" is available for evening dining 5 (five) nights a week Tuesday to Saturday from 6.00 pm. Alternatively, our Room Service Menu offers a selection of light meals and is available daily from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm Other facilities include Solar heated Swimming Pool, In-House Movies, Guest Laundry, 24 Hr Security, Off-Street Car Parking and Car Wash Bay. BY CAR - When travelling North or South on Pacific Highway take Exit 62; sign reads HELENSVALE (SOUTH), LABRADOR, GAVEN; and follow signs to LABRADOR. Once on this road you will go through 8 (eight) sets of traffic lights, at the 9th set of traffic lights turn left into Oxley Drive (you will also notice the Harbour Town Shopping Centre on your left) and the Runaway Bay Motor Inn is located 2kms along this road on the left. BY BUS From Brisbane Airport "Coachtrans" operates a service directly to the Motel's front door at a reasonable fee. From Coolangatta Airport "Gold Coast Tourist Shuttle" operates a service directly to the Motel's front door at a reasonable fee. BY TRAIN Take train to HELENSVALE Station. Taxi rank operates 24 hrs at HELENSVALE Station. Runaway Bay Motor Inn is located at short 15 minute ride and approximate fare $15.00. |
