Wyndham Vacation Resort Seven Mile Beach is a perfect base from which to access a variety of activities and attractions in Southern Tasmania. Located at Seven Mile Beach, the resort is just a seven minute drive from Hobart Airport and only a 20 minute drive from Hobart City Centre. The resort features 61 architecturally-styled self-contained units surrounded by native gardens on 35 acres where 20,000 trees have been planted in the last 3 years. In recognition of its superb architecture and design, the resort was one of three finalists in The American Resort Development Association (ARDA) award for Site Plan Design and Utilisation. Seven Mile Beach was designed to create an 'organic' feel that closely resonates with the surrounding environment. One, Two, Three and Four Bedroom Units in Standard, Deluxe, Penthouse and Presidential grades are available to suit your accomodation needs. Designed with your comfort in mind, each unit features fully equipped kitchens, laundry facilities, outdoor seating and lounge areas and AUSTAR and digital television. Resort facilities include a heated outdoor pool, two outdoor spas, children's splash fountain, a tennis court, games room, gym and communal BBQ facilities. Enjoy the flexibility of catering for yourself or dining at Beaches, our licensed restaurant. From Seven Mile Beach, visitors can enjoy the scenic hour drive to historic Port Arthur, one of Australia's most significant heritage sites. For the adventurous, Freycinet Peninsula, home to acclaimed Wineglass Bay, is just over two hours away. For those wanting to stay 'closer to home', the historic town of Richmond, featuring Australia's oldest bridge, is just 20 minutes away. Along the way, explore the many wineries on the Cole River Valley wine route. Or, why not borrow one of our push bikes and explore the Seven Mile Beach community, borrow a fishing rod and try your luck fishing on Seven Mile Beach, or learn more about our native flora and fauna on a resort garden tour! |
