The Swansea Waterloo Inn is accredited annually with the Tourism Industry Council of Tasmania, which is your assurance of a quality business. The Swansea Waterloo Inn offers 28 non-smoking ensuite rooms with panoramic water views. Our property consists of two executive spa rooms, which offer one queen bed and one set of bunks or a queen bed only in our Honeymoon Suite; three deluxe spa rooms, which offer one queen bed and one set of bunks; and 23 standard rooms, which offer one double bed and one set of bunks, or one double bed and one single bed. All rooms have their own private balcony with views of the water. Our facilities include heaters, alarm clock/radio, LCD TV, DVD play in most rooms, tea and coffee making facilities, ensuite with a shower and/or bath, hair dryer, mini-bar, fridge and toaster. Our rooms are serviced daily and we have a restaurant where you can sit and relax while enjoying the wonderful views of the water and a glass of our local wine. Our restaurant has a fully licensed bar which is open 5 nights a week, and it is wheelchair accessible. We have a bottle shop which is open seven days a week and our property can cater for functions or special occasions. Group bookings are welcome. We also have a guest laundry, which features a washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board. Daily room service breakfast is also available upon request. |

Our Executive Spa Rooms consist of one queen size bed, table and chairs, mini bar an ensuite with a large corner spa, a 15 metre long balcony which offers expansive panoramic views, and one unit features a cocktail bar. Rates are for 2 people. The room caters for a maximum of 2 adults. The following bedding is provided:

| Getting There |
Swansea is centrally located on the East Coast of Tasmania, and is easily accessible from Hobart and Launceston as the rebuilt Lake Leake Highway has substantially reduced travel time. If travelling from Hobart, we are approximately 135km and a 2 hour drive North. When you reach Swansea, turn right at the Franklin St Service Station. If travelling from Launceston, we are approximately 134km and a 2 hour drive East. When you reach Swansea, drive through the town centre to the East end of Franklin St. |

Swansea, Tasmania is a great location from which to explore the many nearby attractions, including the stunning Wineglass Bay and Coles Bay situated near Freycinet National Park. There are many other attractions nearby, including; Kates Berry Farm, Spikey Bridge, The Swansea Bark Mill, Glamorgan Spring Bay Historical Society, Heritage Centre Museum. While staying with us, you can also enjoy heritage walks, day trips, fishing, tennis, local beaches, bowls and golf. There are also several vineyards close by to visit and taste our Tasmanian wine. The following areas are within driving distance, for an enjoyable day trip. Bicheno - 43km, 40 minutes Campbell Town - 69kms, 50 minutes Coles Bay - 59kms, 50 minutes Port Arthur - 178kms, 2 hours and 30 minutes St Helens - 119kms, 1 hour and 50 minutes |
